Natasha Prodon-Bhalla, MN/NP(A), is the Chief Nurse and Professional Practice Officer in the Ministry of Health in British Columbia. She has worked in several leadership roles throughout her career and was the inaugural President of the British Columbia Nurse Practitioner Association. She is an adjunct professor in the Schools of Nursing, University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria and is both a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Nurses and of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In addition to her leadership roles, she also practices in women’s health. Her research interests include health equity, and heart disease in women.
