Dr Jill Clendon, RN, PhD, is a public health nurse and has also worked in education and policy including as Acting Chief Nursing Officer for the New Zealand Government. Jill holds a Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing, a Bachelor’s degree in politics, and Master’s and PhD degrees in nursing. She has published numerous papers on primary health care and nursing workforce issues and is co-author of the textbook Community health and wellness: Primary health care in practice with Ailsa Munns.
