Dr Shoshy Goldberg

Director, Nursing Division; National Head Nurse; senior member, management team, Israeli Ministry of Health

Dr Goldberg, RN, MSc, PhD, has led many reforms in the health system and has been working to strengthen and promote the nursing profession in Israel. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Goldberg was given leading responsibility for all medical workforce in the health system, and was a senior member of the Ministry of Health’s Corona policymaking team. The central vocation motivating Dr. Goldberg in her work is the vision and her faith in the nurse's unique and important contribution in advancing optimal health for the entirety of the residents of Israel
