Dr Asta Thoroddsen

Asta Thoroddsen, BSN, MSN, PhD, FAAN, is a Professor in Nursing Informatics at Faculty of Nursing, School of Health Sciences at the University of Iceland. Currently she is the Director of the ICNP R&D Centre in Iceland and editor-in-chief of the ICNP Editorial Board in ICN. Her last nursing post (1979-2019) at the National University Hospital in Iceland was as Academic Chair in Nursing Informatics focusing on tools to capture and use nursing data to support quality, safety and policy making in health care.
