Professor Lydia Aziato, RN, MPhil, PhD, is an Associate Professor and the Dean of School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Ghana. She holds both local and international positions in nursing organisations such as Sigma Theta Tau and serves on a number of boards and committees. She is an external examiner for a number of Universities in Ghana and internationally. Lydia’s specialty training is in Oncology Nursing. Her research interests span across pain management, cancer and surgical nursing, and she has developed a clinical guideline for post-operative pain management applicable to a resource-limited clinical environment.
