Marianne Riesen

Nurse Anesthetist, Switzerland

Marianne Riesen has worked in the field of nurse anesthesia since 1981 in the UK, New Zealand and Switzerland. She was the IFNA Country National Representative for Switzerland from 2000 - 2001 and a major contributor in defining standards of education, monitoring, practice, and a code of ethics in 2012 and 201. She served as a member of the Liaison Committee for IFNA and the European Society of Anesthesiologists (ESA) 2014 – 2018. Currently, she is the manager of the

Anesthesia Program Approval Process (APAP) and participates in APAP activities as a member of IFNA’s Education Committee since its inception.
