Dr María Eugenia Galiana-Sánchez

Dr Galiana-Sánchez, BSN, MSN, PhD, is the Director of the Research Group in History of Science, Health Care and Food at the University of Alicante and Deputy President of the EAHN. She is member of the Balmis group of Research in Community Health and Sciences History of the University of Alicante; of the GADEA group of Advanced Studies in History of Medicine, and of the SANHISOC group (Health Service, History and Society). Her research focuses on the history of Public Health and Nursing in Spain and contemporary Europe.
