Cristina García-Vivar, RN, PhD, Is Fellow Ad Eundem of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, RCSI, Dublin. She belongs to several European and Spanish research and working groups, including FAME-Research - FAMily health in Europe; the Public University of Navarre and Institute of Health Research of Navarre’s INNO-CARE - Innovative Nursing Practices; the University of Navarra’s Chronic Illness and End of Life Care; and the Spanish Society of Cancer Nursing SEEO group of cancer survivors. Dr. García-Vivar is a member of the Advisory Committee of the European Centre of Excellence for Continuing Professional Development for Nursing and Midwifery and serves on the Board of Directors of the International Family Nursing Association.
